Edwards + Johann artists and collaborators have been working together since 2007. Their interdisciplinary practice and intellectual endeavors are based on long careers as professional artists and a desire to explore the anthropology of contemporary New Zealand culture.
Their individual and collective histories are marked by highlights such as Victoria's doctoral work in 2006 Nightwatch...digital moving image sequences in installation 2005 - 2006 and Ina's award winning work Stuttering Structures #2 in the 2006 CoCA/Anthony Harper Award. Edwards + Johann were International Artists' in Residence in France and Scotland in both 2009 and 2010.
Currently they both live and work in Christchurch, New Zealand.
