Fatu Feu'U Biography

For more than 25 years Fatu Feu’u has maintained artistic authority as a vital advocate for contemporary Pacific art.

Initially encouraged by New Zealand artist Tony Fomison, he studied tapa design and Samoan tattoo, exhibiting his earliest series of distinctly Pacific paintings in the 1990s.

Feu’u’s work is held in the collection of the Museum of New Zealand - Te Papa Tongarewa, as well as most major New Zwaland public collections.
