Gill Rocca was born in the UK. Her small paintings create a tension between the reality of the landscape and the imagination. Gill received Honours in Fine Art at Leeds University before completing her MA (with Distinction) at Winchester School of Art, Barcelona and UK. Her work is held in private collections worldwide including those held by The Royal Bank of Canada and British Airways. Her work has been shortlisted a few times for the prestigious Threadneedle Prize.
