Originally from South Korea, PARK In Hyuk exhibits his work between his native country and France. His first exhibition took place at the Parisian gallery IBU in 2015. His paintings are known for their monochrome and neutral palette. By mixing different gestures, he superimposes blurred, vague anonymous portraits in a repetitive manner, in no apparent order. This abstract ensemble evokes memories, absence and disappearance, as well as the ephemerality of faces encountered in the course of life. Through his works, the artist questions the time-varying relationship between the object and its vision.
