JEFF THOMSON
Although artists such as Ralph Hotere have used corrugated iron, sculptor Jeff Thomson has made this familiar New Zealand building material his signature, recreating objects such as flowers, sheep and crayfish as iconic kiwiana.
Thomson graduated BFA from Elam SFA (1981) and has work in the collection of the Museum of New Zealand, Te Papa Tongarewa.
