Mei-Shu Li
1902-1983, TaiwanLi Mei-Shu was born in 1902, Sanxia, New Taipei, Taiwan. He graduated from Tokyo Fine Arts College in 1934. In 1947, he played the leading role in the reconstruction plan for the Temple in Sanxia. He was dedicated to this project. After the reconstruction, the Temple in Sanxia was known as ‘Folk Art Palace’. Li upheld the reality and always obtained materials from the real life.
