Nacho Eterno is a self-taught painter and ceramist based in a village in Girona.
In 2021 he decided to leave Barcelona, the city where he had developed his career as a tattooist and muralist, to find a quieter and more isolated space where he could live a more leisurely life in contact with the natural environment. It was then when he decided to focus on painting and ceramics, something that until then had been his hobby.
In his work we find as main influences primitive art, nature, Folk Art, architecture and Art Brut, although he also draws from contemporary artistic trends and their pictorial resources, creating a personal and recognizable language.
His work enters an enigmatic world with an innocent and mysterious atmosphere, where singular characters and animals are mixed with abstract elements. In it we can observe the use of synthesized forms and large surfaces of color with a very graphic and simple appearance at first glance but where the texture and the overlapping of colors that gives the painting a more organic and warm aspect.
