Nejat Satı was born in Izmir in 1982. He graduated from the Fine Art Faculty of Dokuz Eylül University. Some of his important exhibitions are: “New Proposals New Propositions 13” group exhibition at Borusan Art Gallery in Istanbul in 2005, “Creative Destruction” group exhibition at Outlet in Istanbul in 2008,“Today's Artist Istanbul Exhibitions” group exhibition at Aksanat, in Istanbul in 2008, “Well Done” solo exhibition at Apartment Project in Istanbul in 2009, “If The Nature is Heaven, The City is Hell’’ group exhibition at Cer Modern in Ankara in 2010, “Hypoglottis’’ solo exhibition at Pi Artworks in Istanbul in 2010, “When Ideas Become Crime’’ at Depo in Istanbul in 2010, “Encounters: Turkish Contemporary Art in Korea” group exhibition at Araart in Seul, Korea, in 2012 . He joined Borusan Artist Residency Programme between the years 2010 – 2012. His last solo exhibition is “State of Mind” held by Pi Artworks (2012). He has been represented by Pi Artworks since 2010. Nejat Satı lives and works in Istanbul.
