Nezaket Ekici Biography

Nezaket Ekici was born in 1970 in Kirsehir, Turkey. She lives in Germany since 1973. From 1994-2000 she study Art Pedagogy, Art History, Sculpture at Ludwig-Maximilians-University and Fine Arts Academy Munich and got her Degree in M.A. in Art Pedagogy. From 2001-2004 she study Performance Art by Prof. Dr. Marina Abramovic at Hochschule der Bildenden Künste Braunschweig. She got her Degree in Fine Arts and MFA Degree. Nezaket Ekici’s performances, installations, and videos are inspired by her double culture German and Turkish; or related to art history context, or she takes inspiration from daily live situation.
