Oldouz Nabizadeh (b.1983, Tehran, Iran) is a ceramist whose works explore forms of objects. Nabizadeh had participated in many group exhibitions, she was selected in the 11th national Ceramic Biennial (Tehran, Iran); By juxtaposing different pieces of demolished or second-handed casts, she puts negative shapes of ceramic casting together. Therefore, she creates objects that represent nor ceramic castings neither sculptural aesthetics. Thus, she questions the idea of sculpture as a beautiful or visible object. Nabizadeh lives between Tehran and Paris.
