PEI LI
Pei Li is a recent graduate of the new media department of the China National Academy in Hangzhou (in the same year as Sun Lei, who is also participating in Music). Although young and virtually unknown outside of the small circle of extended artists around the academy in Hangzhou, she is one of the brightest young women artists to have appeared in the last several years. Right now, that statement is more hunch than fact because her participation in Music to My Eyes is also her debut as a professional artist—although technically she is still a student, having swapped the new media department at the China National Academy for that at Beijing Film Academy, where she is currently completing her masters.
