Noh Seokmee was born in Seoul and studied painting at Hongik University. She has done numerous solo and group exhibitions in Seoul, Japan, Sweden, and the U.S. along with making picture books and drawing illustration in various fields. She paints and writes about the phenomenon of the world that her body sees and feels. It might be pointless to define this act as some purpose or meaning. While her body is alive and touches the world, thoughts arise and the artist’s own perception works.
She is to reveal It completely and honestly. She has a studio with a small patch and a garden overlooking mountains, where she lives with a cat, does farm work, writes, and paints. Her books include , , , , , , , , ,etc.
