Shermeen Tabet is a multidisciplinary artist based in Beirut. She holds a degreein graphic design from The Lebanese American University and a BA in FashionDesign with Print from Central Saint Martins.After gaining experience working for renowned designers such as NarcisoRodriguez, in Paris, London, and New York, Shermeen returned to Beirut.There, she dedicated her time to teaching fashion design at The LebaneseAmerican University and Creative Space; a tuition-free school for fashiondesign, before focusing full-time on her career as an artist specializing inpaintings and ceramics.Her ceramic work showcases the Japanese technique of nerikomi, wherecolored clay is skillfully stacked and then sliced through to reveal intricatepatterns, which are then used to create her decorative pieces.
