Thea Djordjadze (born 1971, Tbilisi, Georgia) studied under Rosemarie Trockel at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf and currently resides in Berlin.
Djordjadze creates installations of sculptural objects that are sited to respond to one another and the space of their installation. For her signature multipart sculptural installations, Djordjadze uses everyday day materials such as foam, steel, glass and plaster as well as found objects, which refer to more classical materials of sculpture but also speak to the traditions of art and craft.
