Todd Robinson’s practice traverses fields of sculpture, installation, textiles and fashion. Robinson worked as a fashion designer, 1995-2003. Since then he has been awarded a Master of Fine Art (research) degree in sculpture and installation from the University of New South Wales and is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Technology, Sydney. He has exhibited his work widely, both in fashion design and visual arts contexts, showing solo Men’s collection at Mercedes Australian Fashion Week and The Melbourne Fashion Festival, The Art Gallery of New South Wales and ARTSPACE, Sydney. His work has been collected by The National Gallery of Victoria. Robinson has taught in the Fashion Design and Design Studies programs at the Faculty of Design, Architecture and Building, University of Technology since 2004. He is represented by Galerie Pom Pom, Sydney.
