From 1985 to 1993, Tsering Nyandak (b. 1974 in Lhasa) lived and studied in T.C.V. Dharamsala (India). In 1999, after returning to Tibet, he started studying art under Tsewang Tashi. He has participated in various exhibitions in China, Germany and Nepal and is a founding member of the Gedun Choephel Artists' Guild. For Tsering Nyandak, being an artist is finding his own mode of expression, which is integrated deep in his self. He is keen at observing social phenomena and uses his observations as themes for his paintings.
