Vio Choe feels energy through unconsciousness and tries to express it in his paintings. For him, painting is an unconscious language, a language of another dimension that cannot be expressed in words and vocabulary. Through paintings, the artist meets a dimension that has not been seen before and feels a communication with invisible energy. He wants to wake up the unconscious of the viewers in the way they smell rather than they see with their eyes, the window of consciousness.
