Press Release

For his first institutional solo exhibition in Switzerland, the Algerian-French artist Neïl Beloufa (* 1985) will cast a critical eye on the world of finance and banking, specifically the phenomenon of so-called ‘Financial Tombstones.’ The exhibition will feature the latter as both a conceptual and an actual device to extend questions inherent in Beloufa’s prolific oeuvre of videos, installations, sculptures, and computer games, which have relentlessly tackled reality, the information age, capitalism, and the ways power structures manifest in our present. The exhibition is supported by the Ernst und Olga Gubler-Hablützel Stiftung.
