Press Release

If we can understand that the growth of trees, the overlapping of soil and rocks, and the confluence of rivers into the sea are natural laws that require no interpretation, then when these laws play an empathetic role in people’s feelings, they have cultural connotations. In our experience of understanding the world, nature, in addition to its own objective existence, is also a “second nature” recreated from the human perspective.

The questioning and critical role that art plays in the contemporary context has led to a reassessment of the legitimacy of human intervention in nature; creators have rethought the relationship between humans and nature, and recreated nature from a personal perspective. These viewpoints are not limited to the field of environmental ecology, but involve a wider range of cultural, social and plastic aesthetics, illustrating the diversity of “nature” after being given a body by art.
