David Kordansky Gallery has announced representation of Hilary Pecis (b.1979), a Los Angeles-based painter, most known for her contemporary take on the classical genres of still life and landscape painting.
Worldwide market demand for the artist’s works is increasing in tandem with a plethora of sold-out solo shows including at Rachel Uffner, New York and Timothy Taylor, London.
Hilary Pecis’ works are also highly sought after in Asia. Music Console, an exquisite work from 2019, is included in Sotheby’s upcoming Contemporary Art Day Sale in Hong Kong, with an estimate of 800,000–1,500,000 HKD.
The gallery will present a solo exhibition of the artist’s work in Los Angeles in 2023.
