Among the highlights at Christie’s auctions this week, we were watching works by Yoshitomo Nara, Gerhard Richter, and María Berrío.

Yoshitomo Nara’s Be Happy (1995–1998) achieved USD 6,420,000, while Gerhard Richter’s Abstraktes Bild (1994) realised USD 36,500,000.

María Berrío’s The Celebration (2011) smashed its high estimate of USD 700,000, bringing in USD 1,320,000.
