After a string of institutional shows at MoMA, Haus der Kunst, and London’s RA, Michael Armitage has been propelled into an elite group of contemporary painters revered by collectors and curators alike.
With a solo at Kunsthalle Basel opening in May and another at White Cube in London later this year, this move with David Zwirner spells a promising run for the Kenyan-British artist.
