For the 2024 edition of Sydney Contemporary 1301SW and STARKWHITE jointly present a body of work by leading Australian and international artists, but with a reductive palate. Comprised primarily of monotoned and mirrored surfaces, our substantial presentation stands out as a clear and deeply considered offering that highlights the emotive values of tonal continuity.
Featuring new work and her debut presentation with 1301SW is Diena Georgetti, who sits alongside contemporaries Jonny Niesche, Fiona Pardington, Jelena Telecki, Pae White and Michael Zavros. We will also offer historic works by Bill Henson and Gordon Walters, alongside a younger generation with sculptures and paintings by Lewis Fidock & Joshua Petherick, and New Zealand’s Jamie Te Heuheu.
