Press Release

Alzueta Gallery presents, in homage to the iconic Barcelona metro ticket that includes 10 journeys, the new project by artist Antonia Ferrer as part of the T10 series of presentations, on display on the ground floor of Sèneca Gallery.

Titled Estudio del fondo, this series does not dwell on the sea’s surface, but rather explores what lies beneath: density, suspended matter, and the shifting hues filtered through depth.

“I approach each piece as a kind of immersion—slow, silent, intuitive. Layers of pigment settle like sediment, forming delicate textures that invite the viewer to pause and look beyond the visible.”

— Antonia Ferrer
