Press Release

Alzueta Gallery is thrilled to present Rala Choi’s new solo exhibition titled ‘Like a blossom’, which includes various unseen works by the artist.

Under the framework of a romantic relationship, we are transported into the inside of a love affair between two people. Different stages of emotional and sexual connections evolve before our eyes. As silent spectators and in chronological order, we are presented with the diverse phases of a romantic story. Love grows with ups and downs in four acts as in a theater play; starting calm, rising action, leading into complications and crisis and finally ending up in (bitter-) sweet resolution.
