We’re delighted to announce our summer exhibition, Blue Lotus Revisited, a celebration of some of the gallery’s most iconic exhibitions and defining moments in recent years.
With a steadfast commitment to exploring Hong Kong’s identity and culture through the lens of photography, Blue Lotus has consistently championed artists whose work captures the soul of this ever-evolving city. This group exhibition invites us to pause, reflect, and celebrate the milestones and achievements that have shaped the journey of our artists and the gallery.
Established in 2007, Blue Lotus Gallery has become a cornerstone of Hong Kong’s art scene, with a particular focus on photography since the discovery of Fan Ho’s work in 2012. Over the years, the gallery has hosted nearly 100 exhibitions, championing both established and emerging artists who explore Asian contemporary culture and heritage. Through its exhibitions, publications, and collaborations, Blue Lotus Gallery continues to celebrate the art of storytelling through imagery, making it a fitting backdrop for Blue Lotus Revisited—a group exhibition that reflects on the gallery’s legacy while looking ahead to its future as a platform for vibrant, thought-provoking photography.
Artists: Greg Girard, Bianca Tse, Ian Lambot, Birdy Chu, Palani Mohan, Thomas Gust, Keith Macgregor, Romain Jacquet-Lagrèze, Michael Kistler, Yasuhiro Ogawa and Michael Kenna.
