
Photography is a medium that has developed enormously over time and is now an intrinsic part of artistic creation.
Over the years, Galerie Tanit has acquired a series of photographs and has represented or worked with photographers whose work is extremely personal and whose spirit aligns with the gallery’s mission and vision. In Beirut, Tanit was the first gallery to present photography exhibitions.
That is why we are pleased to invite you to the opening of the exhibition Coups de Cœur on Thursday,August 31st, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Galerie Tanit in Beirut. Both Lebanese and foreign artists arerepresented in this exhibition, as part of the programming of both Tanit galleries in Munich and Beirut.
Coups de Cœur brings together the works of 23 photographers, including: Ziad Antar, Nadim Asfar, Christian Catafago, Sarah Charlesworth, Franck Christen, Roy Dib, William Eggleston, Fouad Elkoury, Elger Esser, Gilbert Hage, Joan Ill, Joumana Jamhouri, Rania Matar, Ian Mckeever, Randa Mirza, Samer Mohdad, Youssef Nabil, Eric Poitevin, Giulio Rimondi, Roy Samaha, Taryn Simon, Stephen Waddell, and Kimiko Yoshida.
