About Seoul Art Now

Seoul Art Now opened its space in Seocho-dong, Seoul in October 2024, though the gallery’s story began earlier, growing out of independent work introducing contemporary art to Korean audiences. Since opening, the gallery has presented a focused program of Korean and international artists working across painting, drawing, and sculpture.

Founded on the belief that depth of practice matters more than volume, Seoul Art Now works closely with each artist it represents, building exhibitions around sustained bodies of work rather than one-off presentations. Each exhibition is conceived to give an artist’s practice room to be fully considered, reflecting the gallery’s emphasis on rigor over trend.

Seoul Art Now has steadily broadened its international outlook, introducing Korean artists abroad and bringing international artists into dialogue with Korean audiences through exhibitions, art fair presentations, and curatorial collaborations across Europe and Asia. The gallery also contributes regularly to respected art publications within the industry, bringing an ongoing critical perspective directly into its programming.

Still early in its history, Seoul Art Now is building toward a program defined by consistency and curatorial conviction, with the ambition of becoming a distinctive international voice for Korean contemporary art.
