Hamish Carr was born in Rochester, New York. He currently lives and works in Melbourne.
Read MoreIn 2009, he completed a Master of Fine Arts at the Victorian College of the Arts. He has won the Australia Councils ArtStart Grant in 2012; the Arts Victoria Cultural Exchange Grant in 2011; and also in 2011, the Youkobo Artspace Residency in Tokyo, Japan.
Carr has had a number of solo exhibitions and his work can be found in collections in Switzerland and the USA as well as a number of private collections.
