Born in Singapore in 1972, Hiah has been involved in the arts since 1993. With an RMIT degree in LaSalle-SIA College of the Arts, he started doing paintings, installation, performance art and sculptures. His works are always based on the social system, where and how one lives in a society.

He has since traveled outside Singapore to do art from the period of 1997 to 2000 and has been to Germany, Italy and Austria for UNSECO Artists In Residency Vienna, Hong Kong Art Center, Vietnam Contemporary Art Center Indonesia Australia, Thailand, South Korea and China for artists in residency.
He is an active organizer and member of The Artists Village and Sculpture Society Singapore. Hiah is also the former Vice President of The Artist Village in 2001 and currently 2004 Vice President of Sculpture Society.
Jeremy Hiah was born in Singapore in 1972. He obtained his Diploma in Visual Arts from the Lasalle-SIACollegeof the Arts.Singapore in 1995. After which he completed an Advance Course in Visual Arts.
