Kenjiro Biography

KENJIRO (Menorca, 1998) works from a careful and quiet observation of his immediate surroundings. Each artwork constructs a restrained scene, where forms engage in dialogue through a clear and essential presence. Figure and background coexist with equal visual importance: everything is conceived as part of a harmonious, intimate, and precise structure.

This sensitivity to the essential is also reflected in his choice of materials. Kenjiro works on supports such as raw cotton and linen, preserving their natural texture and tone, which lend an honest materiality to the pictorial surface. The paint coexists with the support rather than concealing it; it allows the material to breathe and incorporates it as an integral part of the visual language.

Through an instinctive approach to artistic creation, Kenjiro paints from memory, from that place where visual experience is distilled and transformed. His scenes, though recognizable, are shaped by a desire for synthesis that gives them an emotional and timeless dimension. Contemplation becomes a pause, and within that slowness a subtle presence emerges, inhabiting each image.

Kenjiro’s works are held in private collections across Spain, including Madrid, Barcelona, and Zaragoza, as well as internationally in London, Milan, New York, Texas, and Mexico.
