Lyota Yagi was born in Ehime, Japan and currently lives and works in Kyoto. He graduated from the Department of Space Design, Kyoto University of Art and Design in 2003. Yagi is known to produced sound-based work, amongst his wide range of expression techniques that includes found object, video, installation and interactive art. He involves familiar items and alter their functions, thus by reassembling them he allows new meanings to surface.
