Born in Chiba Prefecture in 1972. Graduated from the Department of Visual Communication Design at Musashino Art University in 1997. For over 20 years, the artist has been working on the ‘Manda-la’ project, which captures a central figure surrounded by objects and people representing their world in a single photograph, similar to Buddhist ‘mandala’ paintings. His works are created through extensive research and dialogue in various regions, reflecting the memories, history, and society of those places.
