Volkan Aslan was born in 1982 in Ankara, Turkey. He graduated from Cukurova University in 2005. Some of his selected exhibitions include: “The Most Curatorial Biennial of The Universe” Apex Art Center, New York (2008), “Save As” Triennale Bovisa Museum, Milan (2008), “Concern” Weimer, Germany (2008), “On Produceability” Cologne, Germany (2008), “Floating Volumes” Friese, Hamburg (2010), “Second Exhibition” Arter, Istanbul (2010), “Fasafiso” Cer Modern, Ankara (2010), “When Ideas Become Crime” Depo, Istanbul (2010), “If The Nature is Heaven, The City is Hell”, Cer Modern, Ankara (2011). His last solo exhibition “Unstable Repetition” was held at Pi Artworks Tophane in September 2011, parallel to the 12th Istanbul Biennial. His next solo exhibition will be hosted by Daniela da Prato Gallery, in Paris. Volkan Aslan’s works has been exhibited in many local and international art fairs including Zoom Miami, Marrackech Art Fair, Art Dubai.
