Won Seoung Won
b. 1972, South KoreaWon Seoung Won is a South Korean artist known for her photographic works, often depicting imaginary landscapes, that are made by splicing pieces of images together on Photoshop. Common subjects of Won’s works are trees, which serve as a metaphor for people and the complex relationships between them.
Education
Won holds an MFA from Kunstakademie Dusseldorf (2002) and Kunsthochschule für Medien Köln (2005).

Won Seoung Won’s current exhibition on Ocula is The Inaudible Audible at Arario Gallery, Seoul (5 October—13 November 2021).
