Cassi Namoda is one to watch.
In the past couple of years, she’s joined Goodman Gallery, François Ghebaly, and Mendes Wood DM, had a solo show with Pippy Houldsworth Gallery, and has a show opening next week at Xavier Hufkens.
Painting her lived experience and the recent history of her native Mozambique, it will surely be only a matter of time until we see her distinctive brushwork in exhibitions and fairs in all corners of the art world.
Tropical Depression opens on 27 April at Xavier Hufkens’ St-Georges location in Brussels.
