Press Release

Grand Guignol brings together new and recent paintings which reflect on human consciousness in an age increasingly shaped by artificial intelligence. As the boundaries between human cognition, artificial systems, and constructed realities become progressively more porous, emerging technologies subtly reshape and recalibrate the subject’s experience of self and world. These paintings consider how the resulting distortions, mutations, and grotesqueries unfold less as spectacle than as quiet psychological transformation.
