Press Release

We are pleased to present paintings, sculptures, and installations by a global group of gallery artists. Spanning a wide range of media—from layered translucent canvas that captures and emits light to gleaming stainless steel cast into fluid forms—the work in this show reflects the gallery’s longstanding commitment to cross-cultural dialogue, material innovation, and presenting compelling perspectives from around the world.

The exhibition features a large-scale, immersive installation by Miya Ando (b. 1973, Los Angeles) titled Moon Ensō (Engessō 円月相). Representing a complete lunar cycle, the towering circular sculpture comprises twenty-nine translucent panels of silk chiffon printed with an image of the moon at every phase, beginning and ending with the new moon. A solo show of new color-suffused paintings on metal by Ando is currently on view at Sundaram Tagore London through August 8.

The exhibiting artists include Miya Ando (b. 1973, Los Angeles), Golnaz Fathi (b. 1972, Iran), Jane Lee (b. 1963, Singapore), Ricardo Mazal (b. 1950, Mexico City), Robert Natkin (b. 1930, Chicago; d. 2010), Udo Nöger (b. 1961, Germany), Kenny Nguyen (b. 1990, Vietnam), Sohan Qadri (b. 1932, India; d. 2011), Hiroshi Senju (b. 1958, Tokyo), Zheng Lu (b. 1978, China), Robert Yasuda (b. 1940, Hawaii), and Neha Vedpathak (b. 1982, India), whose upcoming solo show of tactile abstract paintings opens at Sundaram Tagore Singapore August 15.
