Press Release

White Cube is pleased to present a new group of drawings by Georg Baselitz. Made in his studios in Imperia, Italy, and near Salzburg, Austria, over the summer of 2021, these works express his current interests and sensibility through familiar motifs. This reworking of earlier subjects, which Baselitz calls a ‘remix’, recurs throughout his work of the last two decades and reflects his deep interest in and engagement with art history, both his own and the wider world’s. The selection of new drawings are currently on view in our New York viewing rooms located at:

699 Madison Avenue, 3rd Floor New York, NY 10065
