Dorsa Asadi works across a variety of media, including, ceramicsculpture, painting, drawing and embroidery. Material, is as importantas image to her. She combines local references such as aesthetics ofcolorful Iranian paintings and tiles, with contemporary subject mattersuch as gender, identity, environmental issues and narratives that haveshaped paradigms throughout history. She fabricates myths based onfrequent motives in mythology across the world, for instance the dualityand super powers of twins, fertility, sacri ce and death, in order tomake her narrative installations. Her works have been shown in severalfestivals as well as solo and group exhibitions.
