John Pastoriza-Piñol is a contemporary botanical artist whose focus is rare and unusual plants, documented through accurate realism. Along with private commissions, John is actively showing his work globally and has secured international venues (both public and private galleries) in London, Paris, New York and Madrid. Numerous public and private collections house John’s work including the Hunt Institute for Botanical Documentation, Royal Botanic Gardens Kew, RMIT University, Melbourne, and the Collection of Alisa and Isaac M. Sutton. A recipient of many awards and recognitions, his work is also part of The Highgrove Florilegium, and he maintains a national and international teaching circuit.
