Li Jingbin Born in 1970, Li Jingbin, originally from Shi Jia Zhuang (Hebei Province) graduated from Hebei Normal University Department of Fine Arts. He then went on to do advanced studies at the Department of Traditional Chinese Paintings at the Central Academy of Fine Arts, Beijing PRC. Li Jin Bing's elegant linear drawings, their brush lines silently outlining the female body, are pierced by a fragment of blue and white porcelain. For the artist the inclusion of this fragment is a reference to the true beauty of a woman – a hidden strength and inner beauty that reveals itself over time.
