National Asian Culture Center Residency Exhibition Looks Towards Non-Human Intelligence
24 November 2025, Gwangju

The National Asian Culture Center (ACC) presents 지능시대 - Artificial You, the final exhibition of the ACC CREATORS 2025 Residency. Marking the tenth year of the programme, the exhibition brings together nine teams selected through an international open call and recommendations from the ACC’s Asian partnership network, following a four-month period of research, development, and prototyping at ACC.

The exhibition explores the expanding terrain of intelligence as it moves beyond the human—into machines, nature, objects, data, and nonhuman agencies. By rendering invisible systems of data, algorithms, and technological infrastructures into sensorial experience, the works propose renewed ways of perceiving a world increasingly shaped by intelligent entities. Ranging from generative AI and real-time simulations to wearable and kinetic media, the projects examine machinic temporalities, the fractures of technological control, and emergent modes of existence formed across human and nonhuman interfaces.

Alongside the exhibition, ACC presents ‘Creators Programs’ including live audiovisual performances, Tech Talks, and Workshops that open the creators’ technical processes to the public. All programmes are free; advance registration is required for select events via the ACC website. —[O]
