Lorenzo Amos (b. 2002, New York, USA) currently lives and works in New York City. Amos explores the nuanced intersections of art history and contemporary life through a lens that is distinctly his own. His works, deeply rooted in personal and societal narratives, employ raw and evocative visual languages that captivate and provoke. In his painting practice, Amos utilizes oil paints to layer rich, textural details, creating vivid imagery that resonates with emotional depth.

Ziad Antar (b. 1978, Saida, Lebanon) currently lives and works in Beirut. His practice engages with theoretical discourses concerning the material complexity of the photographic medium beyond its traditional documentary nature. Often ironic and straightforward, his work critically examines the unpredictability and ephemerality of the image creation process, stemming from a familiar relationship with places, cultures, historical legacies, and collective memory.

Christoph Matthes (b. 1990, Karlsruhe, Germany) lives and works in New York. Born in the middle-class suburbs of southern Germany, Matthes is fascinated by the symbolic significance of everyday objects in culture and society. His work often features inanimate objects, colorful animals, and fading images inspired by a collection of photographs from the 1980s and 1990s that belonged to his grandparents. As if to breathe new life into them, Matthes transposes these subjects into a material pictorial landscape, where they are completely decontextualized and acquire new meaning as they take center stage in his colorful, large-scale, childlike compositions.

Seung Ah Paik (b. 1979, Seoul, Korea) lives and works in Pittsburgh, USA. She studied Oriental Painting at Seoul National University (2003), followed by Fashion Design at Central Saint Martin’s (2006), before returning to painting for her MFA Fine Art in Goldsmiths (2013).Her paintings explore the connection between nature and humanity, using the female body as symbols of transformation and self-discovery. Each of her piece reflects the balance between self and surroundings.

Elise Nguyen Quoc (b. Trappes, France) lives and works in Paris. In 2023, Nguyen Quoc received her MFA with honors from Beaux-Arts de Paris. Prior to that, she graduated with honors from Villa Arson and completed an exchange program at Kyoto City University of Arts in 2022. Nguyen Quoc’s works defy categorization as mere paintings or drawings. They are primarily made from her photographs, which capture elusive remnants-unnamable, bodiless, objectless, and devoid of any recognizable iconographic language. Her works are records of activities ranging from empty ballpoint pens to the bottom of a paint tray.
