ShanghART Gallery proudly presents the oncoming summer group exhibition LIU Weijian, SUN Xun, ZHOU Zixi from June 2–June 24, 2012. This exhibition will bring you some visual experience of early summer. In the early spring of 2006, three young artists gathered together in Shanghai Doland Museum of Modern Art for a group exhibition entitled Future Landscapes curated by Biljana Ciric. In the following years, during the explorations in different directions, everyone of them built his own artistic field. And now, in the early summer of 2012, the artistic creations by LIU Weijian, SUN Xun and ZHOU Zixi are once again gathered together, allowing our observation into the creative clues and recent working conditions of these three artists. Furthermore, it drops an ambiguous reference to their forward direction to tomorrow’s art scene.
