Hindu theology lists the six negative human passions namely Kama (lust), Krodha (anger), Lobha (greed), Moha (delusory emotional attachment), Mada (pride) & Matsarya (envy). They are said to be considered as negative characteristics, which prevent mankind from realising “spiritual reality”. But in today’s materialistic world these characteristics serve as instincts in the “survival of the fittest.”
New works included here are a process oriented engagement rather than the preconceived idea of results. This series is an extension of his earlier use of wood as his primary material. Here the idea of carpentry is palpable; but its precise and mathematical base concurs with the artistic liberty to propose fictional forms.
