Keith Khanh Truong (b. 2000, HCMC; lives and works in NYC, USA) graduated from Tufts University and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, MA. Working mainly with printed matter, textiles, and sculptures, Truong digitizes Vietnamese household objects, transforms their imageries and characteristics in cyberspace, and replicates those objects through tactile processes such as printing, weaving, and sewing. They aim to create faux-fiber replicas existing at the intersection of physical reality and digital dreamscape. Through this mode of production, Truong seeks to reimagine the traditions and mythologies in trans narratives.
