Born in 1957 in Hong Kong.
Ng started his photography projects in the early 80s, setting up “THE WORKSHOP” with other photographers at that time. When he was travelling in France between 1989-1990 his photographic works were collected by the Bibliotheque Nationale, Paris. Between 1993 to 1999 he took part in the editorial of 11 issues of non-periodical visual culture publications issued by “THE WORKSHOP” with sponsorship from the Hong Kong Arts Development Council. Between 2005 to 2008 the “PHOTOCRAFTERS” workshop was set up. This workshop aimed at promoting visual cultural activities in Hong Kong and organized photography courses and exhibitions. In 2008 he set up “Out-Focus Group” with friends at the Jockey Club Creative Arts Center.
