Pei Pei He, was born in Shanghai, China and arrived in Australia in 1987. She received her BA of Fine Art with Honours from the Victorian College of the Arts in 2010. Pei Pei has subsequently been shortlisted in numerous art prizes during 2011; Paddington Art Prize, Sydney; Substation Contemporary Art Prize, Melbourne; Mosman Art Prize, Sydney; Hobart City Art Prize, Tasmania; Sunshine Coast Art Prize, Sunshine Coast; Adelaide Perry Prize, Bendigo Art Gallery; Arthur Guy Memorial Painting Prize, Bendigo Art Gallery.
