Australian artist Tomislav Nikolic (born in Melbourne) was born shortly after his parents migrated to Australia from the former Yugoslavia in 1970. Nikolic is a self-taught artist & has been exhibiting with Fox Jensen/Fox Jensen McCrory since 2012.
He was awarded the Bulgari Art Award in 2017 which included a residency in Rome. Nikolic's works are included in public, private and corporate collections both nationally and internationally and can be found in the National Gallery of Victoria in Melbourne and the Auckland Art Gallery in New Zealand.
The artist respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land, the Wurundjeri peoples of the Kulin Nation on which he lives and works. The artist and contributors pay respect to Australia's First Nation peoples, who are part of the longest continuing culture in the world, and to our shared future.
